Juventus-Arsenal Match

Day After Observations:
-- Not the most attractively played encounter, yet a brilliant result for
the Gunners nonetheless.
-- To my untrained American eye, I counted only one glaring mistake by the
Arsenal backline all evening, which obviously did not cost them.
-- Jens Lehmann is much better than I remembered him being (I haven't
witnessed an Arsenal match in a long while).
-- Does Reyes EVER pass the ball?
-- Sol? Sol who? How did Arsene turn Eboue, Toure, Senderos and Flamini
into such a formidable backline? Those Ivorians are fantastic!
-- I was even impressed seeing the fullbacks push up a bit. I thought
they'd be glued back.
-- Buffon's save on Henry was brave and impressive -- just the sort of
commitment one expects to see in a Champions League match.
-- Obvious statement of the morning: Henry's first touch is velvet.
-- Nedved is a big baby and should have been dismissed after that
out-of-play take down of Eboue.
-- Where was Trezeguet all night?
-- ESPN's coverage wasn't as insufferable as I thought it would be.
