It seemed that neither side wanted to win or lose. I detected no real
appetite for the kill, though Argentina gave it a passing thought in the
first half, dominating long stretches of play. But despite these flowing
bits of build-up, a general lack of intensity (and stout organization along
the back) assured a draw. It looked as though both organizations were
happy with their lot and looking to get through the encounter without any
major upheaval. Basic impression of both: excellent work at the back,
general energy in the middle of the pitch, but no killers up front.
