You got that right. Spain look full of ambition from top to bottom, and
have really provided some great moments so far. Please, please let them do
the business against France. Think I'll take a hard cider with some tapas
in their honor right now! (O.K., maybe a Diet Sprite, with slices of
baloney on some Ritz crackers. It's all I have in the house at the moment.)

I'll stand for France! They are still around despite GK's disparaging treatment. Better against Togo (ok, it was against Togo and France had the benefit of no Zidane, but still). There is a lightning in the bottle match in our future and this is the one - the old men will play with pride and experience and will prevail over Espana's speed, creativity, skill and commitment. I am ending this post as as I am changing my own mind!!
