Yes, of course, it is a pre-season friendly, but I don't care what everyone
says, a victory is an important result. There should be no half-hearted
measures when setting a tone for the coming term. Granted, we must
determine the form and fitness of key personnel, but this should not be at
the expense of the outcome, no matter who the opposing side may
be. Sunderland is on the way.
